The New York Post reported today that Russian supermodel Ruslana Korshunova took her own life at the age of 20. With a hugely successful career that began when she was a teen, one has to wonder what drove this young woman to want to say good-bye to the world. I won't start talking out of my ass about the pressures models today face about staying skinny and beautiful, and how it's the fashion/beauty industry that killed her. I don't, after all, have any idea what her personal life was like. I'm just sorry this happened and hope anyone else who's been considering doing something similar, will choose to reach out and ask for help instead.
